The Nershi-Hann Trio, led by founding members of the legendary String Cheese Incident, Bill Nershi and Jason Hann, brings together their rich musical backgrounds to create a captivating blend of bluegrass, folk, and improvisational sounds. Known for their innovative approach and mastery of their craft, the duo, along with their talented trio, combines acoustic instruments and thoughtful compositions to deliver a fresh take on roots music. With deep ties to the jam band scene, their performances are a mix of high-energy grooves, intricate harmonies, and spontaneous moments, showcasing their long-standing musical chemistry and love for pushing musical boundaries.

 Introducing our festival hosts. Hailing from Dillon, Colorado, Local Folk is a mountain soul grass band founded in 2013 in Summit County. Led by the versatile Mountain Dru leading the charge with a crew of talented musician. Local Folk infuses their music with the spirit of the mountains, offering a blend of bluegrass, soul, and folk. With infectious energy and tight-knit chemistry, the band has become a staple in the Colorado music scene, inviting listeners on a musical journey that captures the essence of their mountainous home. 

 Introducing The Foggy Memory Boys, a spirited bluegrass band hailing from the enchanting landscapes of New Mexico. Known for their unforgettable blend of New Mexican Wild grass, their musical concoction is always extra spicy. With each performance, get ready for an electrifying musical journey that is uniquely unforgettable, leaving you with a taste of the southwest that lingers long after the last note fades. 

 Shaky Hand String Band is a high energy creative band based out of Summit County Colorado.   The band plays songs for the mountains, rivers and lakes that surround us.   Shaky Hand focuses on original music with respectful touch of traditional playing, Shaky is bending the roots and planting a new seed into the acoustic Colorado scene.  

Magoo is a progressive bluegrass quartet based in Denver, Colorado, known for their genre-blending sound and boundary-pushing performances. With a mix of traditional bluegrass roots and innovative arrangements, Magoo seamlessly fuses folk, jazz, and improvisational elements to create a unique musical experience. Their energetic live shows and intricate musicianship have earned them a dedicated following, while their thoughtful compositions continue to captivate listeners and push the limits of bluegrass music.

 Prepare for a rip-roaring good time with Pluck Norris, a dynamic bluegrass trio that knows how to strike a chord! Comprising of Loren Zynecki on guitar, Beads on mandolin and Max Engleman on bass with nimble fingers and harmonious melodies, they bring a unique twist to the bluegrass scene, creating a toe-tapping, heartwarming performance that will leave you wanting more. 

Sugarcane Nellie is a Summit County-based duo that crafts toe-tapping tunes and sweet serenades with their seamless blend of fiddle and guitar. Their heartfelt music, rich in melody and harmony, draws from a variety of folk and traditional influences, creating an inviting and lively sound. Whether delivering upbeat rhythms or tender ballads, Sugarcane Nellie captivates audiences with their intimate performances and undeniable chemistry, offering a musical experience that feels both timeless and fresh.

Burle Galloway and the High Country Angels is a captivating band led by Burle Galloway, an innovative songwriter and all-around guru known for his creative vision and distinctive sound. Blending rich storytelling with a mix of genres, Burle and his talented band of High Country Angels deliver performances that are as soulful as they are original. With a deep respect for musical traditions and a flair for pushing boundaries, their unique style connects deeply with audiences, offering a fresh take on Americana, bluegrass, and beyond.

They play Dead well. The Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue, formed in 2005, is a tribute band dedicated to capturing the magic and spirit of the Grateful Dead. With a deep love for the band's legendary music, they bring the iconic sounds of Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, and the rest of the Dead to life through energetic performances and faithful renditions of classic songs. Known for their exceptional musicianship and vibrant energy, the Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue keeps the spirit of the Dead alive, delighting fans with every note and groove.

Rapidgrass is a homegrown mountain music collective born in the heart of Colorado. With a unique blend of bluegrass, country, jazz, gypsy-swing, and classical influences, the band crafts a sound that’s as diverse and rich as the Rockies themselves. Drawing from a deep well of musical traditions, Rapidgrass delivers high-energy performances filled with intricate melodies, virtuoso instrumentation, and passionate storytelling, creating a fresh and vibrant take on the mountain music genre. Their dynamic fusion of styles reflects the spirit of the Colorado landscape and its musical heritage. 

Born out of a love of making music together, Mighty Holler was formed! This group,or couple of couples, brings a connected energy to their performances. They enjoy bringing a variety of styles to their shows, including old time, bluegrass, new twists on classic songs, sweet harmonies, and original tunes, but electric old time is an apt description of their sound.

Brandy Ray (vocals, songwriting, mandolin), Elle Michelle (vocals, songwriting, banjo), Joshua Ray (vocals, songwriting, guitar) and Joe Gibb (bass), bring multiple years of performance experience and musical sensibility to their shows and are a delight to enjoy. They have played various festivals including Tico Time Bluegrass Festival, Palisade Bluegrass Bash, Boulder Film Festival, and more. The group has shared lineups with bands such as Railroad Earth, Elephant Revival, Kitchen Dwellers, Larry Keel’s Electric Larry Land, and more.

Silas Herman and The Tone Unit is a remarkable bluegrass band led by the incredibly talented musician, Silas Herman. Known for his mastery of bluegrass instrumentation and deep musicality, Silas brings a unique energy to the stage with his band. The Tone Unit blends traditional bluegrass roots with innovative sounds, creating an exciting and fresh take on the genre. With impeccable musicianship and a passion for storytelling, Silas Herman and The Tone Unit captivate audiences with every performance.

Liver Down the River is an electrifying band that blends the best of both worlds with their unique "Funkadeligrass" sound—an eclectic fusion of hard-driving, psychedelic bluegrass and infectious funk rhythms. With a bold and adventurous spirit, the band pushes musical boundaries, seamlessly weaving intricate bluegrass instrumentation with funky grooves and mind-bending jams. Liver Down the River's energetic performances and genre-defying style create an unforgettable experience, captivating audiences with their one-of-a-kind fusion of bluegrass, funk, and psychedelic influences.

Kenn Lee and Friends is a dynamic group led by Kenn Lee, a talented songwriter and bluegrass musician known for his exceptional skill and heartfelt compositions. Moonstone Quill is a high-energy string band that blends bluegrass, country, and rock music to create a sound that's as vibrant and diverse as the high country itself.
